The consultation not only lets us get to know each other a little before but it also lets me know if what your wanting is something I’m able to offer with the services I provide. You’re also more than welcome to contact me before booking a consultation if you’d like to be sure that I’m the stylist for you.
It in turn the consultation gives me the opportunity to educate you on what your desired result will cost, along with amount of time it can possibly take. It also gives me the opportunity to let you know the reality of maintaining colored hair along with the cost of products to best ensure your hair health and integrity is insured. It allows questions and concerns to be asked and answered as well as diving into your hair history.
For all cases wanting to go lighter - being able to see your hairs integrity in person to make that determination is critical. If lightening is something we can do after evaluation, I perform a strand test to see if your desired color is capable, without compromising your hair. Then if we decide to move forward after the consultation there will be no surprises during or after your service.

Coming into your service is so important. The service is curated just for you. I completely understand life happens sometimes but when you initially book it takes that time slot away from others who might want to book that time as well.
Within the last 3 years, reschedules/cancellations have risen due to multiple circumstances that are often out of our control. Unfortunately with that, my business has taken a very large hit due to them. This non-refundable deposit policy also ensures that my small business is able to run smoothly without that impact being an issue in the future.

You are more than welcome to do so, but there is a small chance that after the consultation we might decide to not move forward due to circumstances that will only be known after your consultation.
If indeed we don’t move forward, unfortunately the deposit acquired when booking that color service is non-refundable. I would highly suggest contacting me as soon as possible instead. I will try my best to accommodate you.

You will also receive an email 72 hours prior to your appointment that also expresses that if you decide you want to make any changes it would be the best time to then.
All things Pricing:

With the consistent flow of pricing increases that effect us all, I raise my prices biannually (March & September).
The increases are about $5 to haircut services as well as increasing the hourly price by $5 as well.

Now all color services are priced by the hour accordingly to their specific category. The pricing by hour factors in the cost of labor as well as parts needed to provide each client with that specific service.
With every client comes multiple scenarios and outcomes based on so many factors. By utilizing this pricing, it ensures all services are covered for what’s needed no matter the situation. This also lets me provide all my clients with top of the line, innovative, products that give the best possible outcome.
Please note that all transactions made in any form of payment other than cash/zelle will also be charged the current sales tax.

My preferred payment is cash or payment though Zelle.
I also take Venmo, debit and credit. If this is the form of payment you decide to pay your service with the current sales tax will be added to your total.
